Frequently Asked Questions
General FAQs
When can we enroll for classes?
Jump Start Plus has an open enrollment system. This means you can register at any point in time! Our billing is set up to cover 4 weeks of classes - please refer to our Payment/Class Calendar to see what classes are included in each months payment. If you register for classes once a month has already begun, you will be prorated upon registration for the classes already missed. Regardless of registration date, you must let the office know by the 20th of the month if you are dropping the following months classes to avoid any charges.

Can I take pictures during my child's class?
Unfortunately, in today's society pictures of children sometimes get used inappropriately. Jump Start wants to do its part to protect our children. Therefore, children may not be photographed or filmed and no images of children may be posted publicly or privately without a parent's written consent in the case of minor children.
USA Gymnastics Safety guidelines prohibit the use of flash photography during gymnastics activities. Camera flashes can cause momentary blindness that could cause a fall or injury.
How do children move through levels?
The Rainbow Skill Program is a complete developmental program for our non competitive school age girls gymnastics, and tumbling classes that allows for easier tracking of skill achievement and level advancement. Students are placed in a skill level designated by a color of the rainbow (Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Violet, and Gold). Students must master a minimum number of skills at a level to advance to the next colored level. When a student advances to the next level, he/she receives a certificate of completion.
For our Ninja Zone program, students move up by completing a mission. During a mission, ninjas are evaluated on the skills at their current levels. If they pass their skill evaluation and complete the mission, they receive their new color headband representing their new levels.
Kids in Motion
What is Kids in Motion?
Kids in Motion are recreational gymnastics and movement classes for children with special physical and cognitive learning needs. The goal is to give each child what all children are entitled to: the opportunity to experience an active life that is filled with excitement, self-confidence, discovery and most importantly, FUN!
What are the ages?
We take anyone as young as 2 years old up to high school.
What about the evaluation?
Every child is scheduled for a free evaluation at Jump Start that lasts approximately 20-30 minutes. This allows the Kids in Motion Director to meet your child so he can properly place them in an appropriate class. Interested in setting up an evaluation? Register for the Kids In Motion Interest List by clicking "Waitlist" and our director, Justin, will reach out!
